PHILOSOPHY
When I was young I spent my childhood exploring or being creative, but this occasionally got me in trouble for dismantling my father's power tools or letting my mother question my location as I was exploring the forest surrounding our house. My desire and nature of exploring provides the core philosophy of my work as a therapist. I believe the healing process starts from exploring ourselves through the relationship with others. To provide this space I utilize an authentic and comprehensive approach to meet people where they are in their journey. My primarily therapeutic approach is person centered, but I largely integrate a body-centered approach, including neurobiology and somatic experiencing. I work primarily with adolescents and young adults with anxiety, depression, life adjustments, family relationships, and trauma.
